Why I Am Running for Town Council

I’m running for Town Council because as a native of South Windsor (born, raised and graduated from SWHS) I care about how government choices affect all residents, and the town, as a whole.

Since I was first elected, I have always taken this position very seriously and to heart. I believe it is my responsibility to advocate for you and our community concerning taxes, economic development, local businesses, our first responders, families, seniors, children.

Representing the interests of every town resident is my #1 priority. My record shows, and it will continue to be my goal, to always work with “the best interest of all” in mind!

My Vision for South Windsor

I am committed to keeping South Windsor a GREAT place to Live, Work, Learn and Play by:

  • Stabilizing taxes – Always working toward a 0% tax increase
  • Increasing the grand list through smart growth economic development & re-development
  • Supporting our Board of Education
  • Addressing the needs of our citizens and businesses impacted by the pandemic

My Experience

  • Member: Town Council – 12 years (Currently serving as Deputy Mayor) While on the Council, I created the ordinance to fund Capital Improvements on a yearly basis.
  • Town Council Liaison: Water Pollution Control Authority, Capital Improvements, Patriotic Commission, Pension Committee. I also actively sit in for our Mayor, at various meetings.
  • Past Experience: Assistant Town Clerk for the Town of Vernon and South WIndsor
